Sam Rowlands In Radio

I am a very experienced radio presenter in a career which has involved radio, voice over work, video work, and t.v presenting too.

After an initial launch into radio on the graveyard shift at MFM; I got my first big break as a presenter on Metro FM. The two main shows I presented were 'Heart to Heart' and 'Lovelines'; which saw audiences doubling year on year. Alongside this, I presented a t.v show on Tyne Tees TV called 'East Coast Mainline' interviewing people like Ade Edmundson and one of the original 'Bond Girls', Honor Blackman!

In the late nineties I started at Viking FM in Hull and was there when the 'Magic Radio' brand was launched. I spent the next five years presenting on every timeslot including regular Breakfast cover.

During this time I was also the 'voice' for 'Q' TV and voiced scripts for 'Kerrang' and 'Magic TV' also.

In 2004 I got a networked gig presenting 'Secrets with Sam' which was based from the North East and covered all eight Magic Radio stations in the North of England.

Around this time I started my own business and therefore took a few years out to concentrate on developing this. In 2007 I got back into radio working Weekend Breakfasts for Magic Radio in Hull, also Saturday afternoons on Minster FM in York.

In 2009 I presented video packages which were promoted on the Viking FM website, called VFMTV. Along with this, I also co-hosted an awards event for young people in Hull alongside ex-'Blue Peter' presenter Tim Vincent.

Shortly afterwards in August 2009 I decided to re-locate from Yorkshire to East Sussex to be closer to my family and am now looking for the right opportunity to get back into what I love doing best, RADIO!!!
